Kregg sees the world from the perspective of the entrepreneur. He has launched or provided counsel to numerous businesses. He currently serves as a Managing Director at Corporate Finance Associates where he uses his broad experience with the entrepreneurial process to provide buy and sell-side advisory services to lower middle market companies.
Early in his career, Kregg helped to form 2217 Group, a single family office in Chicago, where he sourced and vetted deals as well as led their transaction and investment activities.
Following that, he originated and vetted deals as an Entrepreneur-In-Residence for Elevate Ventures, an Indianapolis-based Venture Development firm that oversees about $80M in investable funds.
Prior to becoming a Director at Symmetrical, he served as Director of the Institutional Portfolio Group for Canterbury Investment Management, a mutual fund manager. At Canterbury, he focused on assisting family offices in the implementation of their alternative investment strategies - an area with which he was intimately familiar.
In addition to his work assisting lower middle market companies, Kregg also serves as an advisor to several startups and has previously served on boards at several entrepreneur-run businesses.
Kregg earned his MBA in Finance from Northwestern's Kellogg Graduate School of Management and his BS in Business Administration from Ferris State University.
