Ken is a seasoned executive with M&A experience in selling two software companies. He was a principal at BMS Computer and a founder of CIMS Lab, Inc. These software companies produced an accounting and Information Technology chargeback system called CIMS that allocated the costs of running a data center out to the users and business units that were incurring them. Ken led these companies to successful acquisitions by publicly traded Platinum Technology and IBM. While working at Platinum and IBM, Ken led additional acquisitions and worked on several integration projects.
Ken has extensive management experience and international business background managing software distribution agents and international support groups. Ken ran his local little league for five years and grew it to over 900 kids including a girls softball program and challenger division which is for disabled kids. He sits on the executive board of the Band of Parents which is a childhood cancer charity focused on helping kids with Neuroblastoma of which his son is a survivor.
Since joining CFA, Ken has led additional successful acquisitions. He holds Series 79 & 63 Securities Licenses.
He graduated with honors from California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) in San Luis Obispo, California.
