George Bryson

Managing Director

George Bryson advises founder-owned consumer companies on sell-side M&A, with a focus on food, beverage, beauty, and other consumer products. He helps owners prepare their businesses for a transaction, position them effectively with buyers, and navigate the sale process from planning through due diligence and closing.

George brings more than 25 years of experience across operating, advisory, and transaction roles. At Corporate Finance Associates, he advises consumer companies on exits, capital raises, and select buy-side assignments. Through CFA's Business Readiness® practice, he also helps owners address the financial, operational, and positioning issues that can affect value before going to market.

Earlier in his career, George worked on Roll International's acquisition of FIJI Water and advised clients at McKinsey & Company on commercial due diligence, growth strategy, and post-merger integration.

His operating experience includes serving as General Manager of FIJI Water Canada, co-founding and leading Wild Poppy Company, and serving as COO of Recover 180. He has built brands, led growth initiatives, raised capital, and managed the practical challenges of scaling consumer businesses.

Having worked as an adviser, acquirer, operator, and founder, George brings a practical perspective to the transaction process and a clear understanding of both what buyers look for and what owners experience when preparing a business for sale.
