Evan provides a unique perspective coming from his family business that was acquired by Penske Truck Leasing. He then continued through the transition as a Penske employee, providing a deep understanding of negotiations, closing, and conversion having been employed by both parties in the transaction.
Prior to the sale of Kris-Way Truck Leasing, Inc., Evan was the Vice President of Sales and Business Development for 17 years. During that time, he expanded the business into new marketplaces, doubling company revenue. In addition to sales and marketing, Evan handled all capital equipment purchasing and real estate acquisition.
Included in Evan's Business Development Role at Kris-Way was the targeting and execution of acquisitions. Evan's work resulted in the acquisition of two competitors. His experience on the deals included due diligence, negotiations, and post-closing integration.
Prior to his involvement at Kris-Way, Evan began his career with KPMG, LLP working in their Financial Services Group after graduating from Boston College with a BS in Accounting and Finance. While at KPMG, Evan participated in several due diligence projects assisting clients in verifying financials of target acquisitions.
After KPMG, Evan spent time on Capitol Hill. His experience includes working as a Press Secretary for a Congressional Member, The US State Department (including the 2004 GS Summit), and with the Small Business Administration. While working for the Congressman, Evan represented both his personal office, and his Committee Office as the Ranking Member of the House Financial Services Committee.
Evan holds an MMC in Mass Communication from the University of Geogia. He applies his family business experience and communications background as a mergers and acquisitions advisor, giving him a unique perspective when guiding a client through the life-changing event of selling a business.
Evan is a Certified Exit Planner (CEPA).
