Anna Marie Garbe-Danuser is a Partner at Transaction Consulting GmbH, Zürich, and Representative of CFAW Switzerland. She co-founded Transaction Consulting in 2010, where she focuses on advising owner-managed businesses and mid-market companies on mergers and acquisitions, succession planning, transaction structuring, and business valuation.
Prior to founding Transaction Consulting, Ms. Garbe-Danuser held senior positions with a worldwide clientele. At Quadris AG in Zürich, she served as Vice Director, advising high-net-worth international clients on structuring and succession planning for UHNWI and corporates, and coordinating complex cross-border tax regularisation proceedings across multiple countries. Before that, she served as Director and Representative for Private Banking International at Credit Suisse (Deutschland) AG in Munich, where she was responsible for the Bavaria region, covering Munich, Nuremberg, and Regensburg.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Garbe-Danuser was Deputy Director and Head of the Competence Centre for Structures and Accounting at LGT Treuhand AG in Vaduz, Liechtenstein, where she led a team and advised international clients on structuring and succession planning. She subsequently held the position of Director at SwissTrust Consulting Group in Zug, providing advisory services to international clients within a family office framework and overseeing financial and accounting functions including cash management. Prior to this, she worked as Senior Consultant for an international consultancy in Monte Carlo, Monaco, conducting due diligence on client structures and managing cross-border client relationships.
Ms. Garbe-Danuser began her career at Credit Suisse Trust in Zürich, where she spent nearly a decade as Prokuristin, managing complex trust mandates and leading a project team for fiduciary mandates, and serving as a member of the Regional Marketing Organisation Europe. She also held the position of Group Leader for SME clients at KPMG Fides in Zürich, where she was responsible for consolidated group accounts, IAS financial statement preparation, and the development of fiduciary services for medical professionals.
Ms. Garbe-Danuser holds the Swiss
diplomas as Certified Fiduciary Expert (Diplomierter Treuhandexperte) and
Licensed Fiduciary (Treuhänderin mit Eidg. Fachausweis). She is a member of the
European Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (EACVA), the
International Fiscal Association (IFA),
and Treuhand Suisse.
