Steve Hauser is a Managing Director with Corporate Finance Associates, and has 30+ years experience in general management, sales, and corporate development, for both global and entrepreneurial firms. He has also served as an advisor and board director for e-commerce and industrial products firms.

He was a partner with Coutant Capital Associates, LLC, a NJ-based merger & acquisition advisory firm focused on private middle market companies. Steve managed sell-side engagements and also assisted start-up and public companies on both capital structure and funding issues. Concurrently, he was, and remains, a partner with The Cannelton Group, an operations-oriented advisory firm focused on private businesses and private equity investors.

He earlier led a major business unit of Aeroquip-Vickers, Inc, as VP, Americas, managing industrial market sales and support. During and after the firm’s acquisition by Eaton Corp. he was senior Vickers executive leading an integration team combining $400M of worldwide hydraulic distribution operations. As VP, Global Customer Support he guided the turnaround of a key Far Eastern logistics operation and launched initiatives that improved service, technical support and plant order response.

As General Manager, International Distribution operations at Federal-Mogul, he oversaw global export sales, international logistics, and Latin American product and systems support. Steve earlier led the team integrating an acquired $320M business, and directed the Corporate Development function of the company. He guided transactions with value of nearly $600M, and played critical roles in several successful financing transactions.

Steve earlier was a Principal at Ernst & Young in the Corporate Finance practice, managing buy-side acquisition and joint venture projects for both domestic and foreign clients. He also authored expert testimony for the E&Y litigation support practice.

Steve managed development projects in the TRW Automotive sector, including helping create  the Passenger Restraint business, leading 7 acquisitions. He was instrumental in structuring technology transfer and joint venture projects in Asia, Europe, and Latin America. He joined TRW after several years in accounting, cash management, and international treasury assignments at Deere & Co.

Steve graduated from The Ohio State University with a BA and MBA.
