Jeff is a Principal of Corporate Finance Associates San Francisco, responsible for Northern California. He has assisted companies to achieve their strategic goals through mergers, recapitalizations, alliances and sales. Similarly, he has represented strategic buyers and private equity groups in establishing their acquisition criteria and implementing their acquisition campaigns.

He has represented a broad spectrum of industries. Manufacturing representation has included heavy industry as well as plastics and food – confection, poultry-based gourmet sausage). Jeff has represented a number of distribution companies including logistics and packaging. Service companies have included hazard waste disposal, human resources, TPO health services and food (8-unit Red Robin, 19-unit Jack-in-the-Box chains).

He has represented both strategic and financial buyers in a number of industries and transactions. He identified and then managed the roll-up in the industry that manufactures replacement brushes for street sweepers. He assisted ACS, Spain in its search for heavy construction companies in the US and has pursued a variety of strategic fits for private equity groups.

Prior to joining CFA, Jeff spent 25 years with the Bechtel Group in business management, sales and overseas venturing, including a three-year assignment in Kuwait. He was responsible for negotiating a number of interesting projects including an overseas fighter base, hospital operations, Nile Transportation Scheme, Gulf War Oil Spill Response and providing management and technical support to the Saudi Arabian EPA and Meteorology agency. Prior to Bechtel, Jeff spent 10 years with Kaiser Industries, primarily overseas on capital development projects in Jamaica, Australia, and Greece.

He received his BA from the University of Southern California. He holds FINRA licenses 7, 79 and 63. He is on the Board of Directors for Goodwill Industries of the Great East Bay and a member of its Executive Committee. He is also on the board of directors for the Contra Costa Council and serves on its Economic Development Task Force. He is past Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Deep Springs College and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
