Bud is the Managing Director of CFA's Midland office. He is an engineer and attorney by profession with a lifetime of experience in the energy field. He has held senior executive positions with major independent U.S. oil and gas exploration companies and has managed large exploration and production programs both domestically and abroad.

Bud continues to be active in the energy field and serves as one of CFA's lead energy experts. He represents buyers and sellers of drilling companies, service and supply companies, mineral interests and other interests within the energy sector. Bud has worked with companies of all sizes from Exxon to small independents. He also advises clients in many other industries in issues concerning mergers, acquisitions and capital resources.
