Terry is one of the founding leaders of CFA. He has served as Chairman of CFA Worldwide, LLC.
Following completion of his education at the University of
Alabama, he later pursued his entrepreneurial instincts and he
acquired an ailing X-ray company that he was able to
turnaround and successfully sell the following year. He later
founded a computer related marketing company, built it and
ultimately sold it to a client. He went on to become a partner
and Chief Operating Officer of a mid-market manufacturer of
store fixtures. He positioned the company for later sale to a
spin-off of Moore Business Forms.
With a keen understanding of building companies and selling
them, Terry elected to focus on the M&A field. He has over
twenty years of direct M&A. As a partner in Corporate Finance
Associates since 1984, he has participated in many dozens of
M&A transactions and has represented buyers as well as
sellers. Terry's broad experience has aided in his ability to
successfully structure deals under the most difficult of
conditions and to secure attractive financing to facilitate
these transactions.
Since joining CFA, Terry has been honored as National
Dealmaker of the Year four times and Office of the year three
times. He is the Past President of the Dallas chapter of the
Association for Corporate Growth and currently serves as its
Chair of the Texas Capital Connection, an annual event where
over $40 Billion of investment capital meets with over 1,000
professionals.
He is licensed by The Texas State Securities Board and The
Texas Real Estate Commission.
