Gary joined Corporate Finance Associates in 2000. In addition to
his investment banking experience, Gary 's twenty year career
includes considerable business valuation, banking and consulting
experience. Since joining CFA, Gary has been involved in a
number of engagements spanning numerous industries, including:
recapitalization of a $70 million wholesale seafood distribution
company; sale of a large regional trucking company; refinancing
of a hydraulic and pneumatic parts distributor; refinancing of
an agricultural and horticultural plastic products distributor;
sale of a multi-specialty surgery center.
Before joining CFA, Gary served as a business valuation
consultant with a leading regional valuation firm, and worked in
a variety of roles at First Union National Bank (now Wachovia)
and Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). During his career, Gary
has valued, analyzed or consulted with hundreds of businesses
across a broad range of industries, including manufacturing,
wholesale distribution, financial services, healthcare and
technology. Gary received his MBA from the University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill and his Bachelor of Science in Business
Administration from the University of Florida . He is an active
member of the Association for Corporate Growth and holds the
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
