John's 30-year career includes extensive
international experience as an entrepreneur, attorney, corporate
development officer and investment banker.
- As a lawyer, he practiced company and commercial law, and
advised clients on the purchase and sale of businesses
- As an Investment Manager, he initiated and executed M&A
acquisitions, had oversight of existing investments, and managed
disposals
- As an Investment Banker, he has represented buyers and sellers
of businesses worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
John has also owned and operated businesses on his own account.
He joined Corporate Finance Associates in 1996.
His areas of special interest are:
- Business-to-business information and research, especially
high-value information/data that can be sold globally, such as
financial information, and related analytical tools
- UK-based companies that seek acquisitions in the US or India.
John qualified as a lawyer (Solicitor) in England and has an MSc
in Business Administration from London Business School. He lives
in India and travels to New York and London frequently.
