Greg McKinley, a CFA investment banker with over 30 years of experience in corporate finance, accounting and management, established the CFA Nashville office in 2007. His advisory services blend extensive operational experience with years of investment banking practice. Greg joined CFA in 1997 when The Underwood Group, of which he was a partner, merged with the Omaha office of Corporate Finance Associates. Greg served as the Director of the Omaha office's Buyer Search and Valuation Services Department. In this capacity, he and his support staff were responsible for completing 10 to 20 buyer searches annually as well as 30 to 40 fair-market valuations annually for CFA clients throughout the United States and Canada.
Greg transitioned into the Mergers and Acquisitions field following more than 15 years as a Certified Public Accountant (currently inactive status) and as Chief Financial Officer within the banking, manufacturing and transportation industries.
With over fifteen years of experience in the field of Mergers & Acquisitions, Greg is able to draw on his multi-industry background and personal experience to assist clients in achieving their desired goals. Greg is a skilled negotiator and an accomplished problem solver who brings a proven set of creative and analytical skills to each project.
Greg earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Wayne State College, and is a member of the Tennessee Society of CPA's, the AICPA, and the Association for Corporate Growth-Nashville chapter. He is a licensed real estate broker in Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia and Nebraska, and holds FINRA series 7 and 63 securities licenses.
