Jim Eaton, Advisor in CFA’s Los Angeles office, brings with him years of experience in the aerospace sector. Starting in 1980, as the Senior Internal Auditor at Ducommun Incorporated, then in 1982, when Ducommun acquired Airdrome Parts Co., he accepted the position of Controller.  In 1987, Jim led a highly leveraged, management buyout of Airdrome from Ducommun and became both a General Partner and Chief Financial Officer.  In 1992, Jim was named Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from which he embarked Airdrome on a quest for international sales and recognition.  In 1994, Jim became President and Chief Executive Officer and led the company to unprecedented growth in sales, profits, asset value and market share over the next several years.

 In 2001, Jim was also named Chairman and remained as the sole General Partner upon recapitalizing Airdrome again with new limited partners.  In 2004, Airdrome Holdings, LLC acquired AF Aerospace, Ltd., also an aerospace precision component manufacturer in Rugby, England.  In 2008, Jim and his partners successfully sold Airdrome Holdings, LLC to Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC), a New York Stock Exchange multi-billion dollar company, headquartered in Portland, Oregon.

 In 2010, Jim launched Kingdom Partner Solutions, LLC, a boutique firm assisting Christian business owners, executives, and organizations with growth strategies, a proven strategy execution management system, executive level coaching, and the opportunity for financial partnership. In 2012, he joined CFA to be able to provide investment banking services to clients. In addition to his professional career, Jim is the past Chair of the CSULB College of Business Administration Dean’s Advisory Board and was chosen as the College’s 2006 Distinguished Alumnus.  From 2007 until 2013, Jim served as a member of the Governing Council of the Ukleja Center for Ethical Leadership, operating under the auspices of the CSULB Foundation.  Jim also served on the Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for 12 years between 1999 and 2012, holding numerous leadership cabinet positions, including the Chairman role for the 2010/2011 fiscal year.  In 2007, Jim was elected as a founding Board Director of the Forest Home Foundation and served as Chairman in 2011 and 2012.   In 2010, Jim became and continues today as a Board Director on the Forest Home Ministry Board.  In 2012, Jim and his wife, Sheri, joined the Biola University President’s Campaign Cabinet.  Jim was also elected as a Director of the Center for Faithwalk Leadership (dba, Lead Like Jesus) Board of Trustees in 2012 and was elected to the Board of Directors of Lead Like Jesus in 2013.
