Brian P. Ballo is a Managing Director at Corporate Finance Associates, skilled in helping the owners of lower middle-market companies extract the maximum wealth out of their businesses in both majority buy-out and minority recapitalization transactions.  He also works on the buy-side, assisting large corporations and private equity funds in identifying and acquiring other platform and add-on businesses.

During his 18 year investment banking career, Brian has been involved in transactions totaling in excess of $250 million, primarily in the aviation, technology, food & beverage and manufacturing industries.  His industry knowledge, and quality relationships built through active participation in industry trade associations and conferences, differentiate him from other investment bankers.

Brian’s investment banking services involve utilizing highly effective marketing methods, including Microsites for each client, and Virtual Deal Rooms that move deals through the due diligence process faster.  As an artful intermediary, he knows how to make contact, and bring together the buyer and seller, or investor and lender, in a professionally managed process, involving conference calls and meetings.

Before joining CFA in 2008, Brian was Managing Director and General Counsel at Marino Capital, and Managing Director at Hunter Wise Financial Group, where he specialized in raising capital in private placements, and handling mergers and acquisitions.

Brian brings 28 years of corporate and real estate attorney experience, including work for major commercial lenders, to his investment banker role.  This background enables him to effectively work with other Deal Team attorneys and accountants in structuring and documenting both debt and equity corporate finance transactions.

To best serve clients, he works together with members of CFA’s Aviation, Technology, Food & Beverage and Manufacturing Practice Groups.
