With its Corporate Office located in Los Angeles, CFA has over 20 offices in the United States and Canada, two in India and fifteen affiliated offices throughout Europe, Asia and Brazil. The Corporate Office oversees strategic planning, systems & infrastructure, business development and continuing education. The Company is owned by the professionals who manage the regional offices and make up the Board of Directors. Clients work directly with the professionals in a local office who are supported by the corporate function and by specialized Industry Practice Groups.
Chairman and CEO, Peter Heydenrych
Peter Heydenrych joined Corporate Finance Associates in 1991 and was part of the management team that completed a buyout of the firm in 1996. He was elected Chairman and CEO in 2003. Peter is a Chartered Accountant and has more than 30 years of experience in corporate finance and investment banking, including international banking and M&A. He serves middle market companies in Southern California, advising on capital raising, exit planning, and mergers and acquisitions. Peter holds FINRA Series 7,79,24,28 and 63 licenses.
Vice Chairman, Jim Zipursky
Jim Zipursky joined Corporate Finance Associates in 1990 and has become an integral part of CFA's thought leadership team. Jim serves as Chairman of CFA's Membership Committee and is CFA's representative to the International Business Law Consortium and International Corporate Finance Group. He was elected Vice Chairman in 2016. He has been representing the acquisition and divestiture needs of mid-market companies for more than 25 years. Jim holds FINRA Series 63 and 79 securities licenses.

Director of Operations, Kim Levin
Kim Levin joined Corporate Finance Associates in 2009 as Director of Operations. As a former Account Executive with Shearson Lehman Hutton, Kim brings a strong financial background to her role in CFA’s Corporate Office. Under her direction, the corporate office provides centralized branding, public relations, accounting and support services for the offices across the United States, Canada and India. She has a BA in Criminal Justice from Cal State Fullerton and holds FINRA Series 62, 79, 24 and Series 63 securities licenses.

Ellen joined Corporate Finance Associates in 2010 to manage accounting, audit and assisting with broker/dealer compliance. Prior to joining CFA, Ellen worked at Ingram Micro as a Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Long Beach State and an MBA in Accounting and Finance from Pepperdine University.

Catherine joined Corporate Finance Associates in 2010 to manage corporate marketing and outreach. Prior to joining CFA, Catherine worked in Sales and Marketing for GE Capital Fleet Services, CCS, Inc. and Precision Sales/PIK Power, Inc. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Finance from University of Colorado, Boulder and an MBA in Marketing from Long Beach State.

Carrie joined Corporate Finance Associates in 2015 and provides transactional support to investment bankers including financial modeling, industry research, sales and marketing documents and due diligence process management. Carrie has over 25 years experience in transaction support services. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from University of La Verne and studied Classical Guitar at Arizona State University.
