Rob Umlauf joined Corporate Finance Associates as Vice President in 2010. Prior to joining CFA, Rob was the co-founder and Managing Director of a boutique business brokerage firm focusing on business valuations and M&A advisory.  Within two years, he and his partner performed over 60 business valuations and eight private business transactions.

From 2002-2008, Rob served as an executive for some of the largest wholesale lenders in the country where he was a top producer, maintaining a high level of success on all his transactions despite very unstable and competitive markets.  Rob's personal work ethic and commitment to client success earned him the respect of colleagues, appreciation of clients, and a place among his company's top 25 percent of brokers nationwide. 

As a committed finance professional, Rob excels at establishing and expanding client relationships, and he brings to CFA a vast and varied network of professional, business, and community contacts.  He is active in MBBI and IBBA and has been involved in several programs sponsored by the SBA.
