John Sheridan is a highly experienced M&A professional with over 20 years in the industry. He is responsible for originating and executing middle-market buy-side and sell-side advisory agreements as well as capital-raises involving senior debt, subordinated debt and equity investments. John has worked in a wide variety of industries with clients ranging in size from $1 million to $100 million.
John joined the CFA Chicago office in 2005 as a Managing Director. Prior to his 20 years in the M&A industry, he was the Vice President of Finance and Treasurer for a middle-market holding company. John also worked as a financial analyst for a Fortune 500 company and has owned his own small business. This range of experience has provided John with unique insight into the concerns of clients of all sizes.
Mr. Sheridan received his MBA in Finance from the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and holds a BA in Economics from Northwestern University. He currently holds FINRA Series 7, Series 63 and Series 79 securities licenses.
