Andrew Sannes is a seasoned M&A professional with over 11 years of experience advising companies ranging from Fortune 500 to lower-middle market on mergers and acquisitions, securities, leveraged buyouts and recapitalization strategies.  He serves as a Director for the Chicago office of CFA with the responsibilities of originating and executing sell-side and buy-side transactions.  He has counseled on over $3B in M&A transactions, private offerings and secondary registrations.  His transactional experience encompasses a number of industries and market segments, including energy, technology, distribution, logistic services, manufacturing, health care, retail, financial services, aviation/aerospace and lodging.  Prior to joining CFA, as an M&A lawyer at large international and national law firms, he represented domestic and foreign clients on buy-side and sell-side transactions.  In addition, as a founder and principal of an e-commerce company and a former deal lawyer, Andrew is uniquely positioned to understand the complex issues facing today’s business owners.

Andrew received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and his Juris Doctor degree from The John Marshall Law School.
