Michael Gardner Is Managing Director and Principal at the CFA Calgary office.  Mike’s finance career of over 25 years has included banking, advisory and corporate roles.  He has completed over 100 financings exceeding $5 billion including acquisition, project and international financings as well as both long term asset and short term working capital facilities.  

Mike has extensive experience in the Energy business.  Mike’s work with public and private Energy companies ranges from small E&P companies to mid-sized operators and includes major integrated oil companies.  He has also worked extensively with developers and providers of alternative energy sources.  Work with pipeline and energy service companies as well as power utilities rounds out Mike’s work with Energy clients.  As a founder, director and officer of a junior E&P company Mike also has operating experience in the financial capacity.

In Vancouver Mike founded a successful Technology finance group.  Mike’s experience also includes work with clients in Engineering, Construction, Forestry and Mining.
